The REAL Brigadeiro

Ok, keeping it real today. You probably already know what a Brigadeiro is (Brazilian truffles, is he best translation we could come up with) and I have a recipe on my feed here of the “Healthified” version, but here is how everyone makes it, and frankly, there are worse things for you!
This here is the exact way Brazilians make  it, and we typically serve this (but not limited to) at children’s parties. It is easily THE HIT of every getogether and what the kids and adults look forward to!

The REAL Brigadeiro
1 14oz can of condensed milk
2 tbsp butter
5 tbsp chocolate powder
Chocolate Sprinkles for rolling  and decorating
Place all ingredients in a thick pan (thick cast iron preferred) at medium heat and mix until you can see that the mixture is sliding from the bottom of the pan, about 8-10 minutes. This means it won’t be stick when cooled and you’ve reached the correct consistency.
Spray cooking spray on a plate and transfer the mixture, letting it cool for at least 2 hours or even overnight.
Butter up your hands as if you were applying lotion and use a tablespoon for your serving size, forming little balls with your hands.
Dip and run each fudge ball through the chocolate sprinkles and place in decorative paper cups! That’s it! Too easy! Kids love this and so will you!

Enjoy! Xoxo, Ana?
