Spicy Salmon Burger


Sometimes you just gotta have a burger, but for a healthier option, make your own Salmon Burger! You can pan-sear or grill it! I enjoy mine with avocado, a side salad and sweet potato fries! I have a Super Easy, SIMPLE recipe and So Delicious!Here is how it goes:


Healthy and Spicy Salmon Burger


1/2 cup finely chopped red onion 

sliced fresh basil to taste

1/2 pound wild salmon fillet, skinned and chopped 

Salt and Pepper to taste

1 tablespoon sriracha sauce 

1 large egg white

1/2 avocado, ripe, smashed

Cooking spray 


Combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl. Combine hot pepper sauce and egg white in a small bowl; add egg white mixture to salmon mixture, stirring well to combine.

Divide the mixture into 4 equal small portions, or 2 large, shaping each into a 1/2-inch-thick patty. Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Coat pan with cooking spray. Add salmon patties, and cook 3 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness. Serve patties on burger buns or with salad. Top patty with avocado and enjoy!.
