A Fabulous Las Vegas Weekend

Think perfection.

That’s what happened to me last weekend. It took me a whole week to digest it and finally write about it. Fabulous Las Vegas.

For starters, I had a spectacular view from sunrise to sunset overlooking the world famous Las Vegas Strip, and what a phenomenal view it was! There simply is no other way do this, and I highly recommend it.

I love Las Vegas, and try my best to make it out to Sin City at least once a year. In my eyes, the biggest “sin” the city has to offer revolves around the culinary scene, offering diversity and great taste for all walks of life. There truly is something for everyone in Vegas, and the city continues to add more and more fabulosity and flare with each visit!

First, a mandatory pampering session at the Sahra Spa & Hammam at The Cosmopolitan. Got a blow out and had my rainbow hair curled. Everything is better with a mimosa at hand, so that was the start to an amazing day! After that, I was ready to take on the weekend!

It’s always exciting to go to Vegas for the entertainment: shows, concerts, to do a little gambling if that’s what you’re into (I personally don’t go beyond slot machines like Hot Shot, haha), dancing in the most beautiful dance clubs and so much more; but I gotta say, I mostly I come for what really matters. THE FOOD! The food is my jam, and that really does it for me, every time.

This time I got to visit restaurants I haven’t been to before, but the highlight was definitely Bardot Brasserie. If you’re looking for classic and elegant French dining with a contemporary flare, you’ll find it here at the Aria Resort and Casino. I was SO Excited, because these are the times I get inspired to create and conquer recipes in my own kitchen! There we enjoyed more meals and wines than I could describe, and each dish seemed better than the next! So many delicious appetizers, main courses and desserts that made my taste buds dance! Bardot is an amazing place to experiment with cuisine outside your comfort zone. We all have our reservations with certain ingredients, but this is the place to reconsider and dive head on into these fantastic works of heart displayed on a plate. Highlights for me were the Escargots Bardot, a first for me. What texture and taste! an absolute must try! Displayed here is the impressive Deluxe Shellfish Tower, amazing for all seafood lovers, but I must add they also served an incredible duck a l’orange! Ooh la la!

The delicious treat to seal the deal (or the meal) was the Giant Macaroon with chocolate sauce presented table side, and I say it’s definitely a must try! At least for us chocolate lovers. I was in heaven…

Vegas is an adult playground and I like to play! I do live by the work hard, play harder motto, but this was taken to a different level when I learned I would get to push the button that turns on the World Famous Bellagio Fountain! I chose Viva Las Vegas because well, how appropriate! Plus I’m obsessed with Elvis. No shame for my love for the king. What a wonderful way to celebrate! Truly a once in a lifetime opportunity.

I eventually ended my night at the Chandelier Bar at The Cosmopolitan. I love love love  this place….It is a girl’s dream of sparkles, and reminds one of drapes of diamonds surrounding a very posh lounge….such a vibe….I just LOVE the Cosmopolitan.

Vegas is always an experience, but this time, it was just unforgettable….Remember, this is the place where you can make your fantasy come true: What Happens Here, Stays Here! Just like it’s meant to… #WHHSH #R&RPartner
