Protein Banana Pecan Curler

  

This just out the oven: Protein packed pieces of pecan joy! Perfect with my coffee, makes 12, one for each day of the week split between @winecoach and I minus on #BrunchItOnSundays! This is perfection my friends, PERFECTION!

Protein ? Banana Pecan Bread Curlers
WHAT
1.5 cups any flour OR the combo of flours below
X
½ whey protein 
¼ cup ground flax seeds
¼ almond meal (ground almonds)
½ oat or whole wheat flour.
X
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon baking powder
Pinch salt
3 medium ripe bananas 
2 tbsp yogurt or applesauce 
2 tablespoons local honey
1 egg + 3 egg whites
1 teaspoon vanilla
¼ tbsp cinnamon 
2 tbsp macadamia oil (or any oil)
½ cup chopped pecans
HOW 
Mash bananas and whisk them with all other wet ingredients. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Preheat oven to 350F. Pour mixture into donut or curler molds (or a regular cake pan) and bake for 20-25 minutes or until set. You will adore this. Enjoy on its own or with your favorite nut butter!
