Amazing, delicious. Simple! French Toast should be all these things! This is an effortless brunch dish that anyone can pull off! Plus the berries looked beautiful at sprouts yesterday! Definitely recommend it for Your Sunday brunch!
This can easily feed 3, but today, it fed 2 hungry people, hubby and I! Get up and make you and your loved ones some brunch!

Berry Cinnamon Swirl French Toast
WHAT
6 slices of any bread – I used 3 different kinds: cinnamon raisin, cinnamon swirl and ginger bread
1 cup almond milk
2 eggs or 1 egg/1 egg white
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
2 tbsp unsalted butter or coco oil
2 tbsp brown cane sugar or honey
Toppings:
Mascarpone
Powdered sugar
Fresh blueberries, raspberries, blackberries and strawberries
Pure maple syrup

HOW
Mix butter/oil and brown sugar/honey in a large nonstick skillet at medium heat and allow them to incorporate into each other. Whisk the milk, eggs, vanilla, and spices in large bowl for blending.
Dip bread slices 1 at a time in egg mixture to coat. Add 4 slices to each skillet. Cook until bottoms are deep brown, 2-3 minutes. Turn slices over and cook until bottoms are deep brown again. Divide French toast among 2-3 plates depending on the level of everyone’s hunger. Sift powdered sugar over. Top with blueberries and raspberries; drizzle with maple syrup. Don’t forget the fab or mascarpone on top!
