Relief of Nausea, morning sickness and beyond….

Some people are blessed to never experience morning sickness during pregnancy…or are they? I’ve been asked multiple times about how to combat morning sickened and there are different ways. People often turn to home remedies or just wish for good luck. I experienced the worse of mine early on between 8 and 13 weeks of pregnancy, but the occasional nausea was recurrent throughout the second trimester and hints of heart burn came later in the third trimester. I was fortunate it wasn’t nearly as bad as my cousin, (who could barely stomach anything way into her 6th month of pregnancy), or some people who experience it their whole entire pregnancy, but I did find something that helped besides all the teas out there that claim to make miracles!

Tummy drops! They are great, not only for morning sickness and nausea associated with pregnancy, but also for other types of upset tummies, nausea and  non-pregnancy related stomach issues. These are legit, and developed by an actual board certified gastroenterologist and internist (a doctor specialized in the digestive system), so not only do I trust these to work, they actually do work and are all natural!

Natural choice for upset tummies!

 What are they?

They are hard candy like drops that are a completely natural, gluten-free, and non-GMO way to help soothe tummy upsets of all kinds (pregnant or not!).

Dr. James invented tummydrops to assist his patients with common digestive complaints to help those tired of conventional medications and looking for all natural remedies to help their digestive issues; In my eyes, tummy drops are a healthy  alternative to prescription medications and chemicals, so I’m in!

He developed these hand crafted drops made of premium natural ingredients and they really do work! They are:

  • An all-natural way to assist with nausea and common digestive complaints, including morning sickness!
  • GLUTEN-FREE, non-GMO project verified!
  • Made with only the most premium ingredients, no high-fructose corn syrup!
  • Made in the USA
  • The NATURAL choice for upset tummies®

 THE FLAVORS:

Ginger Tummy Drops

Each drop contains a special blend of ginger, which may assist with occasional stomach upset, nausea, morning sickness, and even motion sickness! Mother Nature has provided an answer in the form of Zingiber officinale, better known as ginger which contains multiple active substances, including gingerol, which may assist with occasional nausea and vomiting.

Dr. James selected a a natural and potent source of gingerol, plus premium natural ingredients to complement the natural taste of the ginger. The result is this great tasting drop (actually my favorite and most effective in my opinion) that you can take anywhere. So the next time an upset stomach tries to ruin your day, you’ll be prepared.

Peppermint Tummy Drops

These tummy drops contains a special blend of peppermint oil, which may assist with occasional stomach upset & cramps, nausea, urgency, & bloating. For centuries, people have turned to Mentha piperita, aka peppermint, for relief of occasional digestive complaints including cramps, urgency, nausea, and bloating, making these perfect when battling period cramps and even PMS!

They are:

  • An all-natural way to assist with an upset stomach, including cramps, bloating, nausea, urgency, and general upset
  • Non-GMO project verified!
  • Made with only the most premium ingredients, no high-fructose corn syrup!
  • Made in the USA
  • GLUTEN-FREE
  • The NATURAL choice for upset tummies™

Cranberry Cinnamon

These tummydrops are the newest edition to the tummy drops family! The cinnamon provides an almost seasonal warm soothing sensation, in my opinion. Cinnamon has also been used for centuries to aid digestion, not to mention they make everything taste good in my opinion (if you follow me for a while, you know I have a tendency to add copious amounts of cinnamon to my dishes, and for good reason!). It tastes great & may assist with upset stomachs and bloating after meals, so this one is great for those of us suffering with heart burn and indigestion.

They are:

  • All-natural Ingredients:  Brown rice syrup, dried cane syrup, natural Cassia cinnamon oil (proprietary blend), and other natural flavors.
  • Only 10 calories each (zero weight watchers points), fat and cholesterol free.

These are really yummy and are a great way to kick the annoying morning sickness and nausea during pregnancy. I avidly used them to do so. I recently moved to St. Louis area and learned that this is also where Dr. James is from so that was an added bonus to see these at the birthing center and around the city. Too cool!

Hello beautiful ladies. I need some advice/support. My husband and I just found out we are expecting. We found out Tues 1/24/17. Thursday 1/26/17, I had to go for blood work to make sure my hcg levels were rising like they should. Well unfortunately, they dropped. Tues hcg was 116. Thurs hcg level was 104. Mu husband and I are devastated. Has this ever happened to anyone of you, and did you still have a healthy pregnancy? We’re trying to stay positive. We really thought this was it.
We’ve been trying for 2 years. I’m 36 and he’s 38. My doctor has told me that my egg supply is running out. Any advice, help, support is greatly appreciated.

    • Lesley says:

Oh, I left something out. I have to go for blood work again on Sat 1/28 to see where the levels go. Then we’ll take it from there. Hoping it was a glitch in the system and not me,

Hello Leslie. My name is DeAndra. I’m sorry to hear that happen to you. I hope all is well with you and baby. I went through this with my 5th pregnancy. I was pregnant with my son, who is 3 years old and healthy. My Hgc levels went from 185 on my first visit (when I found out), to 145 and that was in the second and third months. My levels went up and down until my fourth month. I had a great and healthy pregnancy with my son and I’ve been blessed with a beautiful daughter, who is 10 months old. It’s very possible for your levels to go up and down during the first few wks of pregnancy and still have a healthy baby. I hope it will work out for you and your husband. I’ll keep you in my prayers Hun. I hope this helps you some.

      • Lesley says:

DeAndra thank you so much! I feel so much better. It was really bothering me because right away I’m being told that this isn’t going to be a healthy pregnancy or baby. Also that it’s possible this is a chemical pregnancy. Really hoping that’s not the case here. Thank you again. Fingers crossed they go up tomorrow.

Stay positive. Early in my pregnancy I had the same scare. I had a miscarriage prior which made it even worse. My dr prescribed progesterone ( I believe that’s how it’s spelled) which is a hormone to help the hcg levels rise and maintain. I am currently 33 weeks pregnant from that early scare.

      • Lesley says:

Amanda, yes, it is a big scare for us too. Last year in Feb right before Valentine’s Day we found out we were pregnant. A few days later, I was bleeding. I freaked out and we went to the doctor. The doctor said they couldn’t see anything on the ultrasound, so they were concerned about an ectopic. Had my levels drawn and they were rising, nut not like they should have been. Now, they’re really concerned about ectopic. Unfortunately, we had to terminate that pregnancy. I’m still experiencing symptoms that I am pregnant. Nausea, and tender breasts. Thank you so much Amanda, if my levels do go up, I will ask my doctor about the progesterone.

You’re very welcome Leslie. I’m glad I could help. I’m praying all goes well for you tomorrow honey!!?

  3. Paola says:

Hi Lesley, hoping all goes well with your pregnancy! Usually you expect bhcg to double every 2-3 days in very early pregnancy, which is why they are repeating it tomorrow. It will plateau and maybe drop slightly around week 7/8. However, there can be glitches in the reading instruments, so all we can do is sit and wait. And as we say in the fertility sector, be cautiously optimistic. Sending positive vibes your way!

  4. Lesley says:

I wanted to thank you all for reaching out and supporting us with this pregnancy. Unfortunately, my numbers dropped which means there was no fertilized egg. It was a chemical pregnancy. So, we have to wait for my numbers to go back down to 0, and we’ll try again. Hubby and I are okay. It will happen, and I just know that eventually we will have a healthy pregnancy. Thank you again everyone. ?
