Baked Persimmon and Cream

IMG_3866.JPG

If you don’t like persimmon, it’s because you’ve never had it this way. It’s still persimmon season, so be sure to go her you some, lightly bake it and eat it with whipped cream. Oh.My.Gawd.

Best Fall dessert ever, under 100 calories (means Guilt-Free!) and naturally sweet with a hint of cinnamon. As you can see I was playing with some fresh cranberries for the next recipe, stay tuned!
Here is what you need:

•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•
1 persimmon
2 tbsp light whipped cream
A dash of cinnamon
•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•

Preheat toaster oven to 350 degrees.
Cut the “top” off the persimmon in a tunneling manner.
Place persimmon in the center for 4-5 minutes. Add whipped cream and a dash of cinnamon over the top and enjoy with a colorful spoon!

The warm persimmon meshes perfectly with the cream. Enjoy every bite!
